Today there was a ton of people wanting to share their "Tech Reports". I am guessing about half the class reported today. The one that stood out most to me was the report on the new artificial kidney in the works. That would be a tremendous achievement in medical technology if they are able to someday perfect that.
The lecture today covered "information systems" and their basic activities (input, processing, output, storage and control). We also learned about cybernetic systems which are self-monitoring systems (i.e. air heating/cooling systems). We also discussed a couple of case studies which showed how helpful, if not vital, information systems can be and how it is important to have a backup plan in the case that your information system accidentally crashed.

So, where do you golf and are you any good? (I was on the golf team in high school and college, and I still occasionally play).

I started playing golf about two years ago. I'm not that good of player, but it's a work in progress. I started playing because I thought it would be a nice skill to have as a businessman in the future, but now I found it to be quite fun. I like playing at Tijeras Creek and Costa del Sol. Especially Costa because its much easier for me as a beginner.
ReplyDeleteDo you still golf? If so, where do you like to play?
